Recently, I’ve been wondering how often I should clean my dryer vent, but I haven’t found a single answer. Some say once a year is enough, others say you need to do it more often, especially if the dryer is used a lot. I would like to ask those who are already doing this: how do you determine that the vent needs to be cleaned? What signs, other than a decrease in dryer efficiency, might indicate a clog? And how difficult is it to find professionals who will do it properly?

Who would have thought that the dryer vent could get so clogged! I’m figuring this out myself, but it doesn’t feel like the safest idea.

Just like you, I also used to not give much importance to dryer vent cleaning. However, after a few incidents involving overheating of the equipment, I realized how important it is. For commercial facilities where dryers are constantly running, regular dryer vent cleaning is not just a necessity but an important safety measure. A company I found on the commercial dryer vent cleaning page, specializes in vent cleaning for businesses such as laundromats and hotels. Email them and they will fix your problem quickly. They have great experienced technicians and reasonable prices for their services.
