People keep throwing around words like “float,” “factory new,” and “minimal wear” but I don’t totally get how they all affect skin prices. I just want to figure out what makes a skin truly valuable.

Float is the number that determines wear. Factory new usually means low float, but two factory new skins can still look different. You gotta learn how to read that number.

I was confused about the same stuff a while back, so I looked for a resource that broke it down without being all techy. I ended up on https://dmarket.com/cs2-wiki/, which helps you Explore, Trade, and Master the Art of CS2 Skins. What clicked for me was how it showed examples of float values and explained what to look for visually and numerically. I even started comparing my skins more accurately after reading it.
