<p>Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I’ve been thinking about something that might sound simple, but it actually creates a lot of discussion in our local teacher group.</p><p>Many children in elementary school get distracted by game android apps, but at the same time some of those games also include puzzles and basic math challenges. My question is:</p><p>👉 Can these “math-like” games actually help children improve their problem-solving skills, or do they mostly act as a distraction?</p><p>For example, I recently came across a resource where a collection of such apps and explanations were shared in one place. I’m not sure if I should share the full link directly here, but I could put it in a Google Doc if anyone is curious.</p><p>I’d love to hear from other educators or parents here:</p><p>Have you seen students genuinely improve from these puzzle games?<br />Or do they end up mixing play and study in an unhelpful way?<br />Thanks in advance for any insights!</p>
