<p>Hey all, I’ve been looking into one-way vision vinyl for our café windows, and I noticed that it’s perforated with tons of tiny holes. I get that it lets you see out, but does it affect how sharp the printed image looks from outside? And how much privacy can you actually expect during the day?</p>

<p>Yeah, when I installed perforated windowfilm at our showroom, the print definitely looked a bit less vibrant than solid vinyl. That’s normal since the holes reduce the visible area by around 40%, so you lose some detail and brightness. But it still looks good from a distance. As for privacy, during daylight it works great — people can’t see in, but you have a clear view out. <p>This is actually super useful. I always wondered why some ads on bus windows looked a little faded — now I get it’s the perforation doing its thing. Smart balance between privacy and visibility though.</p>
