I was wondering how VR could affect arcade games. Remember the old machines with joysticks? Now imagine that instead of a screen, you are completely immersed in the game. It’s like the next level of entertainment! Can VR breathe new life into arcades?

Interesting question! In fact, there are already examples of how VR is changing arcades. In the US, virtual arcades are becoming new social hubs. People come not only to play, but also to socialize in a unique atmosphere. Here is an article on this topic https://esports-news.co.uk/2024/10/31/vr-arcades-american-gamers-new-social-hubs/ . Thanks to VR, arcades can offer players something they won’t get at home: multiplayer sessions with full immersion and unique locations. This really seems like a step forward in the entertainment industry.

This kind of technology can really bring arcades to life. It would be great if they added more of a competitive element, like tournaments or real-time cooperative games. Then they could compete with traditional games and attract more people!

Honestly, I can’t really picture it. I don’t have a VR headset to even try it out. When the whole boom happened and they started selling all that stuff, a lot of people bought them, but I had doubts from the start if it was really worth it. And what’s the result? Not many games, nothing interesting. Glad I didn’t waste money.

I’m actually glad I bought one. Maybe there aren’t any big projects, or maybe I just didn’t look into them much, but at least I’ve got the chance to try a vr porn game, and you don’t. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not bragging, but it’s honestly a cool thing that totally replaced porn for me. It’s way more interesting, and the “immersion” is way better.
