I thought: people hire property managers, pay them a percentage… But if you collect 5-10 clients and do it systematically, you can get a normal business, especially in cities with high demand. Has anyone had experience building such a service? How do you find clients? How legal is it without a license (I’m interested in the state of Texas)? And in general, is it really profitable, or is the ceiling for this business quite low?

Yes, especially if you already have experience as a landlord. Start small, automate as much as possible and don’t forget about liability insurance.

I went into property management because I was an investor myself. But when I saw one of the best property management companies in long beach ca – Genuine, I realized how it’s done. They don’t just “take the keys and look for tenants”; they treat each property as a project. They set up automation so that I adopted some of their practices as my own: CRM, maintenance notifications, and reporting for owners. Thanks to this, I now manage eight properties. And I learned by watching companies like Genuine.

Yes, it is possible to build a business by managing someone else’s real estate, as property owners often seek reliable individuals or firms to handle their rentals, tenants, and maintenance tasks. By offering consistent service, building trust with landlords, and ensuring properties are well-maintained, one can create a steady income and even expand into a larger company over time. With the rising demand for professional london property managers opportunities in this field may continue to grow, especially for those who understand both client needs and market trends.
