Guys, hello! Tell me, which mount is best for astrophotography? I’m a beginner, but I want to seriously get into shooting the starry sky. Now I have DSLR and several lenses, but I understand that without a normal mount it is difficult to take high-quality pictures.

The main thing is that mount is compact, because I often go out of town. It is also important that it can accurately track the movement of the stars, otherwise long exposures will simply blur the frame. I considered options from Sky-Watcher, but have not decided yet.

Are there any of you who already shoot the starry sky? What mounts do you use? What are the nuances when choosing? I will be grateful for advice!

If you need a compact and accurate star tracker mount, take a look at the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi. This is a great solution for astrophotographers, especially if you shoot with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. It is light, weighs little, but can withstand up to 5 kg of load. You can install both a camera with lenses and small telescopes. The main thing is that it has a fully automatic Go-To guidance, which greatly simplifies shooting. Plus, the built-in polar finder helps to accurately adjust it to the North Star. Another convenience is control via a smartphone via Wi-Fi. You can adjust the mount directly from your phone, choosing objects to shoot.

If you are a beginner, then with this mount it will be easier for you to master astrophotography. The main thing is to set up the polar alignment correctly.
